The farm run by Jury
Faralli and his family, is situated in Fasciano, a small village
on the hills near Cortona at an altitude of about 250/330
metres above sea-level. The estate covers 70 hectars of which
5 are planted with vineyards, 1 is planted with olive trees
and 64 are fit for sowing. There are 3300 vines for each hectar.
The production is carried out with total respect for the nature
and the environment.
Harvesting is carried out by hand and there is a green harvesting
in July to improve the wine quality.
The extra-virgin olive oil is obtained by a cold-pressing
and olives are harvested by hand.
